Afghanistan
Afghanistan is located in the south of Asia continent it doesn’t have way to the ocean Afghanistan is 650000 km2 wide and it has more than 21 millions population.
Around of Afghanistan:North Tajikistan, Uzbakistan and Turkmenistan east and southeast Pakistan west Iran and Northeast China is located. Afghanistan is larger from France, Japan and England. Afghanistan has hot and dry climate, but in the winter in some of places snows and rains.The high temperature in Afghanistan is 47 degree and low is about –30 degree Celsius weather of Afghanistan is far from ocean the average rain in winter is about 100mm.Afghanistan has a lot of mountains the 3rd section of Afghanistan are mountains the high peak of Afghanistan is 500-400 meters high.The mountains of Afghanistan are:· Hendokash mountain· Baba mountain· Spin mountain· Pamir mountain· Tora bora mountainIt is mentioned that Afghanistan has a lot of mountain so the rain flows from the top of those mountains and makes small rivers.Rivers of Afghanistan are below:· Kabul river (500km long)· Helmand river (1400km long it starts from Baba mountain)· Harirod river (150km long starts from Dikwang and Aizangy)· Marghab river (800km long starts from Spin mountain)· Amoo river (2500km long) is the largest river of Afghanistan Greek (people of Greece) called it “OXUS” and Arabs called it “JAIHOON”· Farah river (560km long)In the last year Afghanistan was divided by 7 provinces and 8 high governments, but in 1343 it is divided by 34 provinces that every province is controlling by one governor the big cities of Afghanistan are:· Kabul· Nangarhar· Kandahar· Heart· FarahThe agriculture and livestock are those two things that every afghan work on them people in Afghanistan grows: Wheat, Corn, Potatoes, Onions, tomatoes, ladyfingers and etc. Also we can find vegetables and different fruit in Afghanistan like: Peach, Apple, Mango, Banana, Grapes, Cheery, Pear, Plum, and etc.Afghanistan makes from different ethnic group:Pashtuns: Mostly living in south and eastern Afghanistan. People living in the western regions of Pakistan (previously Afghan territories) are also Pashtuns. Pashtu (Pakhtu/Pukhto) is the language spoken by Pashtuns.Tajiks: They speak Dari and mostly live in northern and western half of Afghanistan. Tajiks also live in Tajikistan, the northern neighbor of Afghanistan, an ex-Soviet republic.Hazaras: They live in the central mountainous areas of Afghanistan and are known to be very talented and hardworking group of people. They speak Hazaragee, which is almost the same as Dari.Uzbeks: It is mostly the Uzbek riders who play Buzkashi, the Afghan national sport. Living mostly in the northern areas of Afghanistan, they speak Uzbeki, a language also spoken in Uzbekistan, an ex-Soviet republic north of Afghanistan. Uzbeks are famous for their round breads and red rugs.Turkmen: Also living in the north, they speak Turkmeni.There are also other smaller ethnic groups living in Afghanistan.Afghans are working hard to re-unify and rebuild their war torn country, eradicate terrorism and poppy cultivation from their native land. They need the support of its neighbors and other democratic nations.The biggest challenge we are facing today is to cut-off external interference in our domestic and international policies from foreign countries such as Pakistan and other players in the region.
